In the holidays I was playing my new PS3 game called Need For Speed Pro Street.  It is  available for everyone over 10+. There is grip , drag , time attack , wheelie competition and speed challenges. The wheelie competition is hard.

Drumming at assembly

Today at assembly a band called The Beatles came to our school. They are skillful Cook Island Drummers . A special guest came to our school as well called SGT. Brent. He had only one drum sets whereas the Cook Island drummers had six.

Before they started SGT. Brent introduced himself. SGT. Brent worked for years in our community helping us. He also helped TLN (Tamaki Learning Network).

When they started drumming it was music to my ears. “This is so LOUD “ I said to my friend Damien. It was hurting my ears a little bit. It was louder than our fiafia Cook Island Drummers.

The Leaning Tower Of Pisa

The leaning tower of Pisa,  in Italy, it  is famous because of its tilt. Above the entrance there is an inscription which says that the contraction began in 1173. it was built  as a bell Tower  to let people know if there was an emergency and for the catholic  people to wake up for church.

They stopped  at the third floor because the tower began to tilt. The subsoil  and the foundations weren't strong enough to keep the tower standing straight.  To compensate for the tilt they constructed 1 side taller than the other.

In the tower of PIsa there is a spiral staircase with  300 well worn stone steps. Each floor has pillars and arches. From the top there are panoramic views of Pisa.
